Methods of Application:

Remove all loose material by vigorous brushing, using a wire brush if necessary. Treat any fungal growth with a proprietary fungicide as recommended. Fill cracks and voids with a mastic sealant. If the paste product is applied, primer must be used first.

Once the primer is completely dry, apply the first coat. When dried, follow up with the second coat at a 90° right angle to the first coat, ensuring complete coverage. Air bubbles trapped under the surface must be removed. A third coat can be applied if required.

Watpac Concrete Elastic Black Paste requires a minimum thickness of 1.0mm dry film thickness in 2 coats. In case of a three-coat application, there should be a 48-hour gap between each application. It can be applied by brush or roller without the need to mix, stir, or heat before application.
